Netscape Downloading?
If when you make a call Netscape wants to download a file instead of launching CoolTalk
your helper is set wrong.
In Netscape:
- Press "options"
- Press "general preferences"
- Select the "helpers" tab.
- "x-conference/x-cooltalk " File extensions should be "ice". Put in path to "cooltalk.exe".
By "put in path to cooltalk.exe" I mean to press the "browse" button and using the box which comes up move through your directory structure to the file "Cooltalk.exe". It is probably somewhere like "c:\Navigator\Cooltalk\Cooltalk.exe".
Error When Registering?
IF you get an error when going to the registration for or when registering it is probably due to a corrupted "cookie". You can fix this problem by the followoing:
- Close Netscape.
- Delete the file "Cookie.txt" from your Netscape directory.
- Restart Netscape.
